I bought my Dad the value pack for xmas. I had never heard of Big dog spices before but I’m glad we found them because he loved it. We tried the SPG and it was delicious. We will be ordering more for ourselves.

Double Chipotle is a rub that will have your boomer father in law asking a million questions around ‘how did you do it?’ and ‘can I get it cheaper at Costco?’ and ‘why don’t people make their own rubs, back in my day we used to earn 12% cash interest and pay $4 for a block of land that has now appreciated 7000000000000%’ etc
It’s perfect for pork, and probably a bunch of other shit too.

I’ve tried the Big Tex, Coat of Arms & Double Chipotle with great success. I can wait to test out the rest of the range.

I bought 5 different spice mixes to try. The smokey espresso and double chipotle are personal favourites. The quality is high and it’s made adding extra flavour to dishes easy.

Got a bunch of their different blends to try. They were all real tasty but the standouts were the Kansas, Memphis and Nashville as a dry rub on chicken wings and I also really enjoyed the Texas as a rub for steak. Looking forward to getting more and trying some others.

bought 5 different spice mixes to try as well as the chicken and peri peri salt. I’ve really enjoyed mixing and matching them with my meals. As a bonus the website recipes are delicious and easy to follow. Always happy to support a local business!
